Clean Up Australia inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve the environment and imbibe sustainable living amongst all.
On Friday 14th June all of Mentholatum Australasia, including our Interstate Territory Managers came together for the Quarterly business update, which included a theme of Recycling in the workplace. The theme not only focused on the importance of recycling material, but also ‘renewing’ yourself, personally and professionally.
We introduced the CAN workplace recycling with the 10c refunds going directly to the Berry Street charity supported by Mentholatum Australasia. Berry Street support Children, Young People and families in need. In addition, we will also be supporting the Winter Jacket Donation.
Our Recycling theme tied in perfectly with our annual Clean Up Australia Day initiative, a great way to look after the environment and promote sustainability. At Mentholatum, our vision is to “Make people’s lives Healthier and Happier” by conserving our environment today will help support our tomorrow, in a healthy and happy way.
The day was a fantastic opportunity to foster a fun team spirit, and a great way for people from different departments to get to know each other a little better, with a scrumptious lunch and a few laughs along the way. Also, amazing how much rubbish was collected in the local area, Knox, which helped to improve make some of the Ferny Creek Trail cleaner and healthier
