The Mentholatum pursuit is to “Make people’s lives healthier and happier”, we live and breathe this mission on all levels of the company and a key component is our long-standing partnership with the Berry Street Organisation.
Did you know family violence is the number one cause of homelessness for women and children? ¹
Berry Street has been providing support for families for over 140 years and is one of Australia’s largest independent family service organisations. They believe that children, young people and families should be safe, thriving and hopeful. We could not agree more with this important purpose. The Organisation has a strong focus on reorientating the child and family system, family violence services and education system towards early intervention and prevention. This is realised through the following support programs and services:
- family violence support services
- education services, including the Berry Street Education Model and Berry Street School
- trauma services, including our Victoria-wide therapeutic service, Take Two
- out-of-home care
- parenting and family services.
The Mentholatum approach to supporting Berry Street is wholistic and driven by all members of the team. In any one week you may find us running a Bake Sale or Raffle, participating in a Fun Run or canvasing for donations for our Ban it for Berry Street month of abstinence initiative.

In 2022 we have the biggest year ever planned for our partnership with an ambitious fundraising goal planned. With that goal comes a year full of fundraising activity including Run Melbourne in July, Ban it for Berry Street in September and a consumer fundraising campaign.
One of the Mentholatum brands, Alpha Keri, offers gentle skincare solutions for families. We are proud to announce that this year we will holding a fundraising driver where a portion of sales from Alpha Keri products sold will be donated to Berry Street. The alignment between Berry Street and a family values focused brand makes for a perfect fit.
